One morning the aft port window pane of the windscreen shattered. This article describes what was done to replace it.

This is the drawing file (dxf) of the replacement window. Note that the longest of the 3 sides is a slight curve. The drawing also has the 2 holes for mounting the external handle. This file was sent to the glass manufacturer where they cut 5.0mm plate glass to the drawing then heat treated it to make a "toughened glass".

The 2 cowl vent boxes, dorade boxes, had become unsightly with discolouration and the plastic film coating peeling off. The cowl vent boxes were refurbished to as good as new.
