After a peaceful night, the crew had a lazy start this morning.

Alex did a couple of hours of admin work on the computer while enjoying a good mobile signal, then around 9am Rusalka dropped the mooring and set off around the top of Bruny Island and into Storm Bay.

Storm Bay is not living up to its name, with no wind, a bit of drizzle, a bit of rolling, and motoring south for most of the day.  As Alex said, it’s not the best to be motoring all day on the first day.  He reports that “We're hoping for wind, but not too much!”

By late afternoon they were able to turn off the motor and sail slowly, using the Hydrovane wind vane to steer the boat.
